The Old Rectory

The Old Rectory is a well proportioned Georgian country house set in extensive wooded grounds above the historic village of Ewyas Harold. Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the secluded 3 acre garden, fringed with mature trees and with lovely views towards the Black Mountains. Heirlooms, antiques, ancestral portraits and sporting memorabilia create an atmosphere of comfortable inviting elegance. The spacious dining room has open fires in winter and open French windows in summer. Breakfast includes freshly baked bread from the village shop, locally made sausages, free range eggs and delicious home-made preserves. Just a short stroll to the village pub serving excellent evening meals.

Accommodation comprises one double and two twin rooms either ensuite or with a private bathroom, central heating, drying room for walkers. No smoking please.
