Cottage Farm

Cottage Farm offers a warm welcome, with ground floor bedrooms in a quiet country hamlet. The area abounds in history, walking & wildlife. Our Wildlife Action Award is an ongoing project creating a wildlife conservation area and planting native Hereford fruit trees & shrubs. We have 3 walks designed to begin and end at Middlewood, encompassing the beauty of the countryside, from 4 to 8 miles or shorter. For a change of scenery, visit Hay’s town of books.

Guest facilities include a separate bathroom, toilet and shower, one single/twin room and one family/double room. All are contained on the ground floor making this accessible for anyone unable to manage the stairs. Both bedrooms have large easy chairs and plenty of room to relax in centrally heated comfort. There is a combined kitchen/dining room upstairs where we serve a hearty farmhouse breakfast. Sorry, no evening meals, but light snacks are available as are packed lunches, tea and coffee flasks etc.
