Farm Cottage
Eaton Farm Cottage is a traditional cottage complete with
oil-fired Aga and an open fire if desired (initial basket of logs provided).
It overlooks a pretty garden with ample car parking at the side.
The cottage wing of a C17th Grade II listed farmhouse,
it is situated in delightful countryside, with the River Lugg running close
by through the farm. There are refreshing river walks and private fishing
is available by arrangement.
The adjacent village of Stoke Prior has a local public
house, and a wide variety of restaurants and hotels may be found in Leominster,
for lunch and evening dining, within walking distance to work up your appetite,
or five minutes by car.
Eaton Farm Cottage sleeps four non-smokers in one double
and one twin bedroom. There is a sitting/dining room with colour TV and
video. The cottage is self-catering with full kitchen facilities including
dishwasher, washing machine, electric cooker and fridge. The bathroom has
a power shower and bath and there is a separate w/c.
Eaton Farm also offers luxury self-catering accommodation
in a spacious granary (called "Swallows' Return"). Lovingly converted in
2004/5, the granary sleeps 6-9, and is full of old beams, oak floors and
antique furniture. In addition, camping is available on a small site with
shower/w.c facilities.
